By downloading, accessing, or using "Transcription: AI VoiceToText" (hereinafter "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
The App provides an audio-to-text transcription service using Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- Accuracy: While we strive to provide high-quality transcriptions ("Perfect Text" as a marketing goal), the service depends on third-party AI models. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of the results. The generated text may contain errors.
- Availability: The App is currently provided for free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
3. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Uses
You are solely responsible for your use of the App and for any content you record or transcribe. By using TranscriptAI, you strictly agree NOT to:
- Illegal Recording: Record conversations without the explicit consent of all parties involved, in violation of applicable laws (e.g., GDPR in Europe, "Two-party consent" laws in the US). TranscriptAI disclaims all liability for unauthorized recordings.
- Prohibited Content: Upload or transcribe content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
- System Abuse: Reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code, or use the App in a way that could damage, overburden, or impair our infrastructure (or that of our API partners like Deepgram/Google).
- Data Scraping: Use automated bots to access the service.
4. Intellectual Property
- The App: All rights, title, and interest in the App (code, design, branding) belong to the Developer.
- Your Data: You retain full ownership of your audio recordings and the generated transcriptions. We claim no ownership over your content.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR SUITABILITY OF THE TRANSCRIPTIONS FOR ANY SPECIFIC PURPOSE (MEDICAL, LEGAL, ETC.).
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR ERRORS IN TRANSCRIPTION.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France.
